Eddie Curry is a former American专业篮球player who played in the NBA for over adecade. He was born onDecember 5, 1982, in Harvey, Illinois，and played high school basketball at Thornwood high school in South Holland,Illinois。
Curry was considered one of the top high school basketball players in the country during his senioryear at Thornwood。Mr. Basketball and was a McDonald's all-american in 2001. After highschool,Curry decided to skip college and declare for the NBA draft。
2001 NBA draft: Curry was selected fourth overall by the Chicago Bulls. He spent his firstfour seasons in Chicago,where he showed flashes of potential but also struggled with injuries and2005,Curry was traded to the New York Knicks，where he had the best season of his career in 2006-2007,averaging 19.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per是game。
Despite his success with the Knicks,Curry's career was derailed by weight and conditioning issues.He was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2010 butwas waived before ever playing a game for theteam.
